Transcribed from a tape-recording telling briefly of political activities (Clydeside Shop Stewards’ Committee; membership of British Socialist Party, Independent Labour Party, Labour Party and Communist Party), including comments on the engineers’ strike of 1908 and with an eye-witness account of the St. George’s Square riot of 1919.
